I’m Jen, a graphic designer working for people and the planet.

How I got started
In the year 2001 I graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Photography from Massey University Wellington, in Aotearoa New Zealand. Right away I started working as a photographer and design assistant at local gig guide The package. There, under the mentorship of Art Director Sean Berry, I began to translate my design school knowledge into working print production know-how, and since then I’ve continued to grow my skills with every job.
What I’m currently working on
My current focus is on aligning my design work with my personal values: creating an anti‑capitalist pricing model, staying up-to-date with sustainable design practices, and continuing my education in accessible, culturally‑aware and ethical design.
What I do
With over 20 years of experience in print, digital, and identity design, I am currently focusing on designing book covers, branding and logos, and merch (stickers, totes, t-shirts, etc).

I take the time to understand your book project inside-out, in order to create designs that communicate the value of what you publish and speak to your audience.

From eye‑catching posters and flyers to custom tees, enamel pins, or embroidery, I bring your ideas to life on any surface.
I handle everything from concept sketches to print‑ready files: making sure your brand shines in the real world. I’m also happy to recommend ethical manufacturers.

My design process starts with solid market research and a deep dive into your organisation’s goals and needs. By getting to know you and your brand, I ensure every solution is rooted in real insight.
While the collaboration is truly a partnership, I guide the project with my design expertise to keep the vision clear and the outcomes strong. And because I respect your timelines, every project is delivered on schedule, without compromising quality.
English is my native tongue, and I’m also proficient in Spanish and Catalan, so I can comfortably collaborate with clients in those languages. As a long-time language nerd, I also have a beginner to intermediate level of Arabic, French, Te Reo Māori, and Portuguese, and experience with designing materials in many more languages and alphabets.

1. recerca

By getting to know you and what you’re about, I ensure every design decision aligns with your values and vision.
2. crear
Next it’s time to convert all the research into concept designs. I start by sketching and then digitise the best ideas.
I’ll meet with you to share the different options and recommend which direction we take. At this point I’ll get your feedback and incorporate it into the next step.
3. completar
After developing and refining the chosen concept idea into it’s final form, I’ll send it to you as a final draft. Usually no more changes are needed, but there’s still time for any desired tweaks at this stage.
Once the design is ready and signed off, I’ll prepare and export the final files, and share a folder where you can download everything.
