I aim to avoid participating in the exploitation of others, and I also don’t want to exploit myself (a classic freelancer trap). So I continually reflect on and adjust my working practices, tools, etc.

In my design work, I seek to avoid cultural appropriation, tokenism, and manipulative marketing psychology. I refuse to design for industries that exploit people or the planet, and I adhere to the Palestinian call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS).

My focus is on helping you build a brand that serves your community’s needs rather than extracting value from them.

Yes, I offer payment plans for up to 12 months, with no fees and no interest charged.

Please note that I always require an initial payment in order to begin work, and I am not able to deliver your final design files until payment is completed.

Yes, I accept payments in all major currencies (but not cryptocurrencies). I’m happy to quote a project for you in your currency, just ask me!

Most of my design work is priced on a fixed fee basis. That means the price of the package you choose, is the price you will pay — no surprises!

For my branding strategy and design advice calls I charge 150€ per hour.

As I work collaboratively with my clients from the start, and include a set number of revisions in each design package, I’ve never encountered a situation where extra revisions were necessary.

At each step of the way, you’ll see where the design is at and be part of directing how we develop it, so there’s no need to worry about any unpleasant surprises!

If for some reason extra revisions are needed — for example: you decided on a new tagline for your branding project — this additional work will be charged at a rate of 150€ per hour.

For all branding work: you do. You own your logo and branding design and can use it however you want, in any country, forever.

For some other design projects, for example editorial illustration or book covers, the usage rights are part of the pricing structure. This means that if you just need usage rights for a certain length of time, or a certain part of the world, this will be cheaper than purchasing them for the whole world, forever.

I retain the right to include my design work in my portfolio, and to enter it in industry awards contests.

For each project, I will discuss with you your preferences regarding fonts: do you have a budget for licensing fonts, or do you prefer to work with free, open-source fonts?

I will work with you to make sure you have the correct license: for web and/or print. And if you want something a little different from the big names found all over google and canva, I’ll be happy to recommend some excellent fonts made by small and independent type foundries.

After burning myself out doing a ton of free work in the past, I’m currently in the process of creating new structures for making my work financially accessible.
